Last edition of Ariadne@Brussels: “Shaping flexibility, managing uncertainty”

The annual Ariadne conference on climate and energy policy will return once more to Brussels to continue the insightful discussions from previous iterations. The event marks the end of the discussion series under the Ariadne project – but represents a hand-over to a continuation under a different flag in 2027.

From 19–20 October 2026, discussions will focus on the proposal to revise the Emissions Trading Scheme (Day 1), as well as the development of the governance system for post-2030 climate targets and the role of external credits in this context (Day 2).

Under the title  “Designing Flexibility, Governing Uncertainty: The EU ETS and Post-2030 Climate Policy Architecture”, experts and researchers from the Ariadne project will once again present their latest work on these topics and discuss them with policymakers and stakeholders in an informal yet focused setting.

Please note that some selected programe items are by special invitation only. The event will be held in English.

We look forward to your contributions to the discussion!
